Who do you believe? The calorie counters, low cab diets, detox programs, smoothy drinks, exotic herbs, diet pills. The list seems endless
You have to decide what suits you. What are you trying to achieve?. Are you trying to lose that belly fat or a general overall; weight loss program?

Increase your intake of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruit (preferably to every meal). Green leafy vegetables have a ‘volume advantage’ meaning that you get to eat lots of them without eating a lot of calories. This is a huge benefit when dieting, as it will help curb your hunger.
Change you eating habits. It's more beneficiary to eat 5-6 times each and every day, instead of one large meal, followed by those 'hunger’ snacks. Eating more often is a required habit if you want to lose a lot of weight. It will allow for better control over blood sugar levels, a constant flow of nutrients to your body throughout the day, and it will help curb hunger cravings because you will constantly be eating.
Participate in some form of exercise to stimulate your metabolic resistance. Maybe begin with Jogging or some other form of exercise. If working out in the neighbourhood is out of the question, then consider joining the local Gym, where you will find a multitude of exercise equipment to work out on
