Celebrity Fad Diets

Are you wanting to shed a few of those unwanted pounds before the summer vacation, and considering one of the many celebrity fad diets that are constantly being advertised on TV and Magazines on the market.

Losing weight affects everyone differently, and there are a lot of positive changes once a person experience weight loss.

Apart from avoiding health problems such as diabetes and even heart attacks, losing weight could simply be an overall feeling of well-being and self esteem,

For whatever reason, the thought of losing weight may sound like a good idea. However, the thought of the discipline and sacrifice required to give up favourite foods, or making the effort to exercise, after a busy work day is, for many, just a ‘step to far’

It is for this reason why so many people are searching for celebrity fad diets that offer a quick and easy solution to shedding those extra pounds without the pain and sacrifice required

Celebrities have their own pressures, particularly female celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, to look beautiful; they also are expected to have perfect bodies. But I doubt that they achieve this perfection on a cabbage soup diet?

There are plenty of popular celebrity diets that are guaranteed to backfire. This is because these quick fixes instilled in certain diet plans are, in reality, are not efficient at all, because they do not employ the right principle and the right attitude in losing weight.

These quick weight loss diet plans are known as fad diets because that is exactly what they are, just a fad. In time, when fashion is over and popularity wanes, people realize that the celebrity fad diet they depended on is not so reliable after all, and they find they are back to square one, or even worse. Have gained weight!

Scientific research has shown that these celebrity fad diets do not prove that any individual is losing unwanted excess fat. It is mostly water that is lost with following celebrity fad diets or rapid weight loss practices. Water lost is regained very quickly. So there is actually zero net weight lost after all.

So one should not be foolish enough to be so gullible with the advertising of certain celebrity fad diets out there in the market; especially those which claim to aid losing a whopping amount of fat in a short time.

Each and everyone's body metabolism reacts differently to different fast weight loss programs and plans. Plus, exercise programs must be suitable to one's body, as many people are not able to exercise as rigorously as others can.

All in all, discipline and consistency is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success. Before entering into any celebrity fad diet, consider first, healthy light dieting combined with some form of workout.

The right amount of exercise applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than many popular Hollywood fad diets on offer.
